Yellow sunburst design with the words 'Sound' at the top and 'Shine' at the bottom.
Two smiling people, a woman and a man, are crouching behind a reflective geometric sculpture in a forest. The sculpture has multiple mirrored surfaces.

Sound practitioners Jo Carter and Richard Farrington created Soundshine to share their love of restorative sound.

Working both individually and together, they invite the listeners to RELAX . BREATHE and LISTEN deeply and immerse themselves in the transformational power of sound.

With love and imagination they weave the sound and silences of gongs and Himalayan singing bowls and other special instruments.

They regularly hold private and group Soundbaths, create sound-scapes in acoustically resonant places and can be booked for special occasions, , festivals , and retreats.

Unique in Alton is their Sound Studio where up to four people can either participate playing the instruments or experience the sounds as listeners.

Testimonials

I have been attending Jo and Richard’s soundbaths at Chawton for some time now. Each time has been a unique and magical experience.
The village hall is transformed into a beautiful calming space with low lighting and candles surrounding the gongs and bowls. So incredibly relaxing and healing!
