Meet Us

An woman with long grey hair sitting cross-legged on a cushion, holding a mallet and bowl, in front of a large gong, with pink flowers and gold bowls around her, in a cozy indoor setting with curtains and a white brick wall.

Jo Carter

Sound Practitioner

Jo’s journey into the world of sound healing began when she was looking for emotional support; and following a friend’s recommendation, she attended her first gong bath where she experienced a sense of great peace and stillness..

Realising how powerful and healing sound could be on so many levels, she wanted to learn about more and share the therapeutic value with other people through her own practice.

Jo has been lucky to have been on trainings with Gong players Sheila Whitaker and the legendary Gong Master training course at Hawkwood College with Grand Master Don Conreaux and Aidan McIntyre.

She holds individual and group soundbaths creating nurturing and seasonally themed sessions.

Always bringing some of the natural world into the session as well as healthy grounding refreshments

Richard Farrington

Sound Practitioner

The Gong Master training at Hawkwood in 2022 with Aiden Mcintyre and Tim Burford gave Richard the impetus to change after over forty years as a practicing sculptor and public artist.

Experiencing and creating the magical sounds of gongs and Himalayan singing bowls opened doors for him. He found a similar creativity in free form sound creation that was in tune with making sculpture; but weightless and without any material outcome. No storage problems just a direct transmission of sonic energy to listeners at the sound baths he holds.
